Introduction Importance of Colour Power of Colour Choosing Colour Schemes Curtain Terms Choosing your Curtains
RED is positive and exciting with a rich, aggressive glamour. It mixes well and has the greatest power of attraction. Most rooms are enhanced by a touch of red tones.

PINK is delicate, subtle, feminine, soft and flattering to almost everyone. Add a little yellow - leaning toward peach - and pink becomes warm. Add a little blue - leaning toward violet and it becomes cool. Pink needs a stronger colour to enhance it. Pink blends well with greys, browns and sharp blues. Pink is especially lovely for bedrooms.

ORANGE is not as exciting as red. When combined with yellow is suggestive of brightness and induces happiness.

BROWN is warm, comfortable and earthy. There is homeliness about brown tones which make them universal favourites. Ranging from pale cream, beige to deepest chocolate brown, these tones can be used together in a room to give infinite variety. Most browns are easy to work with.

YELLOW is gay, lively and suggests sunlight and brightness resulting in a cheerful atmosphere. In its cleanest and lightest tone, it is good fo all aspects.
