| Swag |
A loop of draped fabric suspended across the top of a window, on a pelmet or on its own. |
| Tails |
Lengths of pleated fabric attached to either end of a swag, framing a window. |
| Tie-Backs |
A length of fabric, cord or similar attached to a window frame and used to loop back a curtain. |
| Roller Blinds |
Fabric blind consisting of sturdy or stiffened fabric. Would usually be in a
wooden roller. |
| Roman Blinds |
Fabrics blind, less severe than a roller blind. Flat when down which pulls up
into folds. |
| Festoon |
Fabric blind, similar to Austrian, but gathered to produce the festoon effect. |
| Pelmut |
A decorative surround usually made of fabric or wood which covers a
curtain heading. |
